2026 Convention Rates
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
The early bird rate applies to all dancers who complete registration 60 days or more prior to the event. Standard rate applies Less than 60 days from event.
Studios receive 1 free teacher band for every 5 dancers they register, up to 5 teacher bands by registering 25+ dancers. Teacher bands grant teachers access to observe any/all classes, audition experience, welcome/closing ceremonies, and improv competition. Teacher bands also allow access to the teacher-only OTD tent!
Registration MUST BE paid 30 days before event to ensure spots for dancer(s)!
Registration ends 2 weeks prior to an event! Dancers who register less than 60 days prior to event will be subject to standard rate registration.
Full day convention package includes a welcome ceremony & warm up, 6 convention classes, a free audition experience & Industry Q&A, and an award ceremony!
Half day convention package includes welcome ceremony & warm up, as well as 3 convention classes in the morning prior to lunch.
The Improv competition is available for all dancers for a $15 registration fee that can be paid at the check-in table the day of the event. To register, see OTD staff at the merch or check-in tables!
AWARDS
All of our full day conventions conclude in a group award ceremony. Mini/Petites who participate in the half day convention option will not be eligible for the award ceremony. Mini/petites, juniors, and teen/seniors participating in the full day convention package will participate in an approximately 30 minute award ceremony at the end of the day.
Throughout the day, dancers have the opportunity to be noticed by our On Top Staff, including our master teachers, merchandise staff, director, and auditioning staff. Our staff will award dancers based on a variety of things, including top technique, top choreography retention, top performers, and more!
One dancer will be awarded for each style/level for their exceptional work. Dancers will also be awarded ON TOP DANCE certificates, scholarships, and merchandise! Dancers that opt to participate in the free audition experience will also be eligible to win scholarships from some of our incredible sponsors and partners! We thank our Sponsors & Partners for their contributions to our award ceremonies! All convention and in-studio conventions will be awarded scholarships from our various sponsors. Teen/Senior dancers have the ability to enter into our prestigious apprenticeship program, where they will have the ability to learn the “behind the scenes” of the convention business, work with our guest artists, and so much more! In order to receive our apprenticeship award, dancers must be at least 14 years old and must be recognized by ALL 6 master teachers.
